“Before RFID, we thought that every item shipped to a store would end up on the store floor, but that's not the case. “Items are misplaced, lost or stolen and never appear in the ERP system. That means some of the items that were manufactured, shipped and delivered to the stores were never sold because they were stuck or lost. This is unacceptable. Now, RFID technology has made it possible to receive an additional list in real time of the items that will appear on the store floor.”
